NDESO BUAH

Located in tepus village Mojogedang, Karanganyar 35 Km east of Solo city just a 30 minutes car ride. ”NDESO BUAH” which literally means ‘fruit village’ is a vast vegetation land consisting of a few famous domestic as well as imported tropical plants and seedlings.such as:
• DURIAN: Petruk, Sunan, Monthong, Kani
• LONGAN: diamond, pingpong, itoh, king
• RAMBUTAN: binjai, rapia, lebak bulus, red king/yellow and Pulasan(a kind of Sapindaceae)
• SAPODILLA SUPER
• CEMPEDAK Thailand
• JACKFRUIT Thailand
• MANGOSTEEN
• GUAVA Thailand
• ORANGES
• LYCHEE
Also the availability of ground pepper plants. We commonly refer as the white pepper spices. The “NDESO BUAH” is just a couple of kilometers from a favorite tourist attraction Mount Bromo and Waduk Delingan.

NDESO BUAH was first established in 2000 started with just a mean to satisfies a hobby of its owner. Its was professionally maintain with the highest standards of agricultural technique Thailand. Under the guidance of the department of agricultural for the province of central java specifically in nurturing young and excellent seedlings.

Ever since NDESO BUAH was featured on a local TV show “Safari Ceria” by TATV in May 2007 and again “Hidangan Istimewa” in June 2008 with additional coverage from a local newspaper SOLOPOS Sunday edition “hobby” in 2008 and the latest publish by "TRUBUS" May2009. NDESO BUAH has became a house-hold name. During the holidays and harvesting period. Alot of acquaintes, friends and family would come and gather to enjoy a brief moment of new experience. It has even attracted fruit lovers and the agricultural department from all over Indonesia. NDESO BUAH was the location to which 100 people from the “kelompok tani “ in “kabupaten Ngawi” and Jepara held its plant nursing training and plant maintenance training exercises. Interestingly we once had a elderly who just seen a DURIAN TREE and GROUND PEPPER PLANT for the very first time in his live. Ironic? I wouldn’t think so. Just be honest how many of us actually has seen it up-close?


Seeing that NDESO BUAH is such a crowd attraction and encouragement from visitor to make NDESO BUAH an agricultural and recreational destination for the whole family and friends.With the intention and dedication to make NDESO BUAH could play a part in educating the future generations. Especially children who love fruits and learn to know where they are from and how it is grown. So that they would appreciate the fruit they enjoy so much.

We had a program in educating and opening a new horizon for young learners. We will be able to give a hand-on approach to caring for plants and gets to interact with nature. This program will be held on Saturdays. It can also be arranged to specified preference.
